Installation Policy

At Dawlance, we are committed to delivering not only high-quality products but also a smooth and hassle-free installation experience. By scheduling an installation, you agree to the following terms & conditions, which are designed to ensure safety, transparency, and the protection of your property.

Installation Process: Air Conditioners

Standard Installation

Standard installation covers the core requirements to get your appliance running efficiently, utilizing the materials provided in the box.

  • Placement & Mounting: Safe mounting of the indoor unit on a standard brick wall and secure placement of the outdoor unit.
  • Included Materials: Up to 10 feet of standard copper piping, insulation, control wiring, and basic drainage pipe.
  • Basic Through-Wall Drilling: One standard core hole for routing pipes.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Powering on the unit to verify cooling, airflow, and drainage.

Premium Services & Out-of-Scope Work

Every home is unique. Any requirements beyond the standard parameters above are considered "Premium Services" and will be quoted transparently by your technician prior to execution.

  • Extended Materials: Any piping, wiring, or drainage beyond the standard 10 feet will be billed per foot at standardized company rates.
  • Specialized Drilling: Drilling through reinforced concrete beams, lintels, or columns incurs additional charges.
  • Dismantling: Removal of existing units is a separate service. Dawlance is not liable for refrigerant reclamation or disposal of old units.
  • Hardware & Bracketry: Outdoor unit wall-mount brackets are not included and are chargeable.
  • High-Rise & Special Access: Installations requiring scaffolding, lifts, or special rigging are considered Premium Services.

All premium service rates are drawn from Dawlance’s standardized rate card. Customers may contact Customer Care to dispute on-site quotes before approving additional work.

  • Clear Access: Work area must be free of fragile items, electronics, and valuables.
  • Power Supply Readiness: Requires an existing operational electrical point or MCB. Technicians will not install new MCBs or internal wiring.

  • Failed Visit Policy: If installation cannot proceed due to site issues, approvals, or power conditions, a mobilization fee may apply.
