Washing Linen in your Washing Machine: What to Do Before, During and After Wash
Do you ever think that washing linen is a hassle? Or it needs extra care while washing?
Worry not, we have a solution for you! We present to you a complete guide on how to best take care of this natural, simple fabric. Now you can get ideal results when it comes to washing linen:
Since linen is prone to stains, yellowing and dinginess, remove the stains by soaking the item in bleach for some time.
Next, to remove any odors from linen, pre-soak the item for 30 minutes in hot water, mixed with 1/4cup of vinegar.
Wash your linens using hot water in the washing machine using appropriate setting for Linen (Click here to check out the Dawlance laundry range).
Dry and Finish
Linen can withstand tumble drying with high heat. Therefore, you can either tumble dry or line dry.
To use ironing or steaming, remove the linen from the dryer while it is still a little damp. Then iron it on the highest temperature or steam setting (Click here to check out the Dawlance iron range).
This is why we love linen- machine washable, tumble dryable and easy to iron when still damp. Easy!
