How to remove fabric softener stains

Fabrics softener can greatly help you keep your garments soft and smooth. But they too can leave your garments streaked and soiled if directly applied to the clothes or somehow, they come in direct contact with them. The signal being waxy residues after washing indicates a direct encounter of the fabric softener with your clothing item. To get rid of these patches, use a laundry bar soap and scrub the waxed area using a soft bristle cleaning brush. This will ease up the stain and loosen it from the cloth fibers. Try rubbing out the stain with your hands as much as you can and then wash it up as routine wash in your regular laundry. Repeat this process if stain is not fully removed.
